The Clans
The ClansSettled amidst the open plains and rolling hills, Moorclan is renowned for its natural beauty. On the surface it appears quite like any other clan, but a secret waits buried just beneath the earth that sets this crafty clan apart from the rest.
Taking up the southern portion of the map, Ashclan is situated in an ancient oak forest. Misty weather, a mysterious crater, and countless dead trees give the territory a somber feel.
Occupying a large piece of land split from the mainland by a river, Seaclanners are no strangers to the water. Marshlands, streams, and a coastal camp are to name by a few of the natural wonders of the territory.
The Wilds
The WildsA dark collection of pines sprawls along the coast north of the territories. Moorclan territory dips into the forest, but most is left for the rogues. Strange stories surround the Darkwood and more than a few dangerous rogues are known to inhabit the area. Most stir clear of the eerie pines.
A stretch of ruined land lies between the Darkwood and the Twoleg place. Billowing sand, little water, and high temperatures make the area dangerous for any wishing to cross. Normally such a place would have been left well alone, but the Star Cave lies in the Wastelands. Medicine Cats make the journey most often for their monthly meetings but even warriors must cross from time to time.
A collection of massive foothills of a distant mountain lies to the east of the territories, bordering Moorclan. These hills are packed with prey and countless streams make water easy to come by. The High Hills often attract rogues and loners looking for an easy meal.
A small lake rests just outside the clan territories. Normally it makes a good place to fish, but recent events have seen a rise in the pollution of the water. The fish are dying and all those who drink from Cloudmirror's waters find themselves poisoned.
A massive oakwood forest stretches as far east as warriors have ever wandered. The thunderpath carves its path into the distant trees and vanishes. Many new rogues, loners, and kittypets have entered clan lands from this direction.
Named for the famous rebel who once had a camp in the meadow, Pon's Meadow is one of the more beautiful spots outside of clan lands. Wildflowers frequent the landscape and rabbits are always plentiful in the lush grasses. Remnants of Pon's camp can still be seen on the eastern edge of the meadow.
The Borders
The BordersGreen cliffs surround a gently flowing river as it winds deeper into the territories. There is space to walk alongside the river, but each of the borders ends at the top of the cliff. Many bloody battles have been fought on the shores of the river and it remains a highly contested area to this day.
An open moor with a line drawn through it serves as the border between Ashclan and Moorclan. Because of the lack of definite landmarks to serve as the marker for a border, this is one of the most highly contested borders in the territories. Many terrible battles have been fought along a line drawn in the sand.
A gently flowing river winds slowly through the trees of Ashclan territory, bordering and feeding the marshes in Seaclan's territory. Here the river is deep and wide and crossing becomes strenuous. For this reason the border is largely uncontested.
The border the backs both Moorclan and Ashclan is the most dangerous border there is. Countless cats have lost their lives on the black pavement as they wandered too near. Generally it is a place best avoided.
The Twoleg Place
The Twoleg PlaceA broken down alley and several deserted shops make up the ruins. Towering crates, forgotten shelves, and piles of rubble make ideal resting places for rogues. In the past, the ruins have served as a camp for various rogue organizations. But, for now, they lay deserted.
The thunderpath the cuts through the twoleg place is even more dangerous than that which borders the clans. Wide and filled with months, many lives have been lost here. Still, crossing is often necessary to move about the territory and there are many that take the risk.
