Timeline of Events Our timeline covers the last 100 moons of the clans history. It is quite extensive but this is not a mandatory read. This is not where the story of the clans begins but knowledge about events before this time are no longer remembered. Any event in this timeline can be referenced in character apps or characters posts as long as that character would plausibly have knowledge of the event. Three kits are found abandoned in the territory stinking of Moorclan. The three leaders meet to discuss what is to be done. Ultimately the kits are kept and the situation is kept quiet.
Hawk sightings increase and cats are forbidden from venturing out alone.

A Moorclan mentor and apprentice pair are attacked on the border by a patrol of Ashclan warriors. Each escapes with their lives but it is weeks before either leaves the medicine cat's den. Eveningstar is furious and vows revenge.

Eveningstar leads an attack against Ashclan's camp. The battle that follows is disastrous and no less than 7 cats are killed. Ultimately Moorclan retreats but the battle is considered a victory for Moorclan. The kits Ashclan took that had belonged to Moorclan are offered back to Eveningstar who accepts them as a gift. An uneasy peace settles between the clans.
Ashclan honors Ashpool, their patron god, in a celebration. Reedwhisker wins the climbing competition.
Mudfang vanishes from the territory. After days of searching the clan is forced to give up and Sandstrike is named deputy in his place.
The kits that had been returned to Moorclan slip out of the camp in the dead of night. They were attempting to cross back into Ashclan territory when a fox found them.
A loose dog crosses into Seaclan territory and attacks an apprentice Rose-sea rushes to their aid and is ultimately stripped of her remaining six lives by the dog. She is replaced as leader by her son, Sage-sea.
A patrol of warriors is dispatched to chase out the fox that has remained around their borders.

A scuffle between Ashclan warriors and two rogues takes place on the border. The rogues are chased from the territory without difficulty.

A kit wanders from the camp as a snowstorm brews. Search parties are sent out but the kit is never found.

Ashclan moves the border in the dead of night, cross the stream that separates the territories and setting a new boundary. Peregrinestar is furious but, after a terrible leaf-bare the clan lacks the strength to retaliate. The new border is observed begrudgingly by the Moorclan leader, much to the embarrassment of his warriors.
One of the smaller sea caves floods, drowning two apprentices that had been playing inside.

Brackenthroat, Moorclan's deputy, publicly challenges Peregrinestar's decision to allow Ashclan to keep the territory they stole. The two come close to fighting but, before they can, Peregrinestar's mate breaks them up.

Brackenthroat leads a group of Moorclan warriors in a raid against Ashclan camp. Two of his warriors are killed and 4 Ashclan cats lose their lives in the attack, including a queen and her kit. Brackenthroat returns triumphant but Peregrinestar is furious. He exiles the deputy from Moorclan along with three of the former deputy's followers.
Celebrations take place to honor Ashpool, Ashclan's patron deity.
A pair of rogues enter Seaclan territory and are discovered by a patrol. The two sides engage in conversation and the rogues eventually leave peacefully. Later they return with a litter and beg the clan to take the kits in. After a long debate, Sage-sea eventually agrees.

Peregrinestar at last demands back the territory Ashclan stole. He mets with the three leaders of Ashclan and, after two days of discussion, Ashclan agrees to give the territory back to Moorclan.
Whitestar leads a group of warriors across the thunderpath into a meadow on the other side. There they encounter a dangerous group of rogues led by a former kittypet named Pon. A deadly skirmish ensues resulting in the loss of one of Whitestar's lives.

The three clans come together on the Island of Lights to celebrate the Festival of the Gods. Tensions remain high between Moorclan and Ashclan but the three days pass without incident.
Sage-sea receives a vision from the gods warning of a darkness coming for the clans. He increases patrols and bans apprentices from exploring the territory unaccompanied.
Pon's army begins to grow. The disorganized band of rogues begin to launch attacks against Ashclan warriors patrolling along the Thunderpath. Several lives are lost.
Pon's rogues move up along the thunderpath and begin to wage war against Moorclan as well. Within days it is apparent they have intimate knowledge of the territory already.

Desperate, the leaders of Ashclan turn to Moorclan for their help in defeating Pon's army. Moorclan, who have also been suffering under the consistent attacks, agree to join forces against their common enemy. Together they launch an attack against Pon's army that quickly proves to be insufficient to drive off the rogues. Peregrinestar comes face to face with his former deputy, Brackenthroat, who has joined with the rogues and the mystery of Pon's inside man is solved. Peregrinestar loses his final life to his former deputy and Applestar and Whitestar of Ashclan both lose lives as well. Darkness descends and the battle is beginning to look as though it is lost when the gods finally intervene.
Sage-sea had been battling visions of darkness for nearly a moon when they called upon him one final time. And this time when the gods called, Seaclan answered. Sage-sea, with the might of Seaclan at his back, arrived at the battle of Pon's meadow just as all seemed lost. With his added strength, the three clans were able to force the rogues from the meadow for good. The battle was won but Pon was never found in the aftermath.
Nearly a moon after Peregrinestar's death, Sedgeswipe receives his nine lives and takes on the name Sedgestar. He names Quailwing as his deputy. With new leadership the clan becomes less inclined to religious behavior and belief in the gods begins to fade.

Hollyheart, the Moorclan medicine cat, leads and expedition into twoleg place in search of herbs. The patrol returns to camp with enough herbs to completely restock their cache.

A stray dog wanders into Seaclan territory. It attacks a group of apprentices, killing two and injuring another. A warrior patrol is dispatched to deal with the dog and another warrior is severely injured. The dog is eventually forced from the territory by the remaining members of the patrol at the cost of severely small injuries.
Ashclan holds a celebration in honor of their patron goddess. Grasspaw wins the climbing competition and gains the warrior name Grasswhisker.

Seaclan warriors swim across the river dividing Ashclan and Seaclan. They are found hunting by an Ashclan patrol and a short skirmish ensues. Seaclan eventually retreat but Ashclan is unable to prevent them from taking their captured prey.
A pair of warriors encounter a young rogue while out patrolling the borders. They panic, remembering the stories of Pon's army, and kill the young cat. Once they realize what they've done the pair bury the body and vow to remain silent.

A young queen is killed protecting her litter from a sudden cave-in. Rescuers manage to dig out the two kits but the queen had already passed on to be with the gods.

The three clans gather together on the Island of Lights to celebrate the Festival of the Gods. Tensions are low and friendships are made across the clans. At the conclusion of the three days everyone leaves in good spirits.
Whitestar succumbs to old age. The clan gathers together and decide to appoint Rookstar in his place.
Blackflower, Sage-sea's daughter, demands he name her heir. When her father refuses she attacks her brother Redsea in an attempt to kill him and take the crown by force. The fight is short-lived and Blackflower is chased from the territory.

Greencough burns through the clans. Warriors are too weak to hunt and borders are left unchecked. Many go hungry and a few rogues slip past the boundaries to hunt in clan land. The sickness lasts an entire moon and claims the lives of many.
Applestar, already weakened by greencough, succumbs at last to his age. The clan gathers together and decide to appoint Willowstar in his place.
A young queen is found to be pregnant by the medicine cat, Ripplemask. Ripplemask is immediately exiled by a seething Sage-sea and the young queen is allowed to stay only until her kits are born. Once they three are born he exiles her as well.
Moorclan holds a festival in honor of their patron god. Enthusiasm for the event is found to be lacking.

A spring flood destroys part of the warriors den. Everyone is evacuated in time and no-one is hurt in the event. Rebuilding immediately begins.

Tensions remain high between Ashclan and Moorclan as the three clans gather together to celebrate the festival of the gods. And, despite bloodshed having been forbidden at the sacred event, several small scuffles break out among enemy warriors. The festival is disbanded a day early for the very first time in history.
Blackflower returns for her title with a band of rogues at her back. The bitter daughter leads an attack into the very heart of Seaclan. In the end many perish in the fighting, including Sage-sea and his daughter Blackflower. Redwater, as his father's only living child, is named Redsea in his father's place and receives his nine lives.

Moorclan struggles to feed their overabundance of cats as the weather grows colder. Cats begin to go hungry as prey disappears from the territory at an alarming rate.

A mysterious illness spreads like fire through the three clans. Moorclan, with its massive, population is hit the hardest and quickly gains the highest death count. The sickness, deadly as it may have been, lasts only a week.
With the clan severely weakened by the mysterious illness and the lack of prey, Sedgestar leads an expedition into the Twoleg Place in search of alternative hunting grounds. The patrol never returns and Shadestar is named leader in place of Sedgestar. No celebrations take place to honor Moorclan's patron god for the first time in history.

But Jaggedbrook of Seaclan and Mintgaze of Ashclan demand it be quiet for the good of the clans. The three argue and eventually Ryefire is convinced to keep quiet.
Prey returns to Moorclan and warriors once again are allowed to eat their fill.
Mintpaw takes on Lynxpaw as his apprentice.

A band of rogues claiming to be Pon's descendants begin marking along the Ashclan border. Worried history is about to repeat itself the clan stages an attack against the rogues in order to destroy their organization before it can grow. Several lives are lost in the fighting but Ashclan ultimately emerges victorious.

A Moorclan queen is found to be pregnant by an Ashclan tom. The tom is cast out of Ashclan after a vote is taken by the entire clan and he crosses the border to seek acceptance into Moorclan. After a long debate, Shadestar allows the tom to join Moorclan.
Onyxstar is found dead in his nest and the clan is left to wonder why. Accusations tear the clan apart but, in the end, the leader's true cause of death is never discovered.
Freezing conditions making fishing in the ocean dangerous. Without one of their main sources of food the cats of Seaclan go hungry. Efforts are made to better train warriors in land hunting techniques.

The clans gather together on the Island of Lights to celebrate the Festival of the Gods. Seaclan, still recovering from Greencough, allows only a few warriors and apprentices to attend. The other clans note their lack of numbers and begin to wonder if Seaclan is growing weak.
Three rogues cross the Ashclan border and pick a fight with a warrior out hunting alone. The warrior is critically injured before help arrives. But, by the time the patrol arrives, the rogues have vanished.

An apprentice is found drowned in the river. Foul play is suspected but what really happened leading up to the apprentice's death is never discovered.

Ashclan and Seaclan clash along the border after a Seaclan warrior accuses Ashclan of drowning the Seaclan apprentice. Ashclan insists they played no part but fighting breaks out regardless. The battle ends with Ashclan victorious and Seaclan forced to retreat.
Moorclan celebrates their patron god in a lackluster ceremony.
A sudden storm results in the death of two warriors when they're caught out in the ocean.

A fight breaks out when an Ashclan patrols encounters a Moorclan patrol. Several small injuries are reported but both sides escape relatively unscathed.

Thornstar succumbs to old age and the clan gathers together to name a new leader. After much discussion the clan finally selects Vervainstar.

Ashclan and Seaclan clash along the border when two apprentices pick a fight with one another. Seaclan emerges victorious after a short scuffle and the Ashclan cats are driven back across the river into their own territory.
Ashclan holds a celebration in honor of their patron goddess. Sorrel-leaf wins the climbing competition.
Rogue activity along the border shows signs of increasing. Extra patrols are assigned in the hopes of dissuading any potential invaders.

Acid rain begins to fall from the sky, poisoning the river and killing the fish. Cats that drink from puddles begin to fall ill as the poison seeps into the earth.
Rainstar mysteriously dies, leaving the clan to wonder what could have caused such a sudden illness. Suspicions begin to grow as answers remain elusive.
A pair of rogues finally cross the border and attack a Moorclan apprentice. A patrol is quick to arrive but by the time they do the rogues have already disappeared over the border.

Patrols enriching the experience Once a month one patrol will be selected to take place for each clan. You can of course plot out your own patrols with other members but these posted here are randomized and completely optional to sign-up for. Each patrol will have a mission that can be anything from "check the border" to "find the fox that's been spotted in the territory." Intelligent, shrew, and perhaps a bit morally grey, Rainshade is her own kind of ruthless that can surpass even her mate.

These days he can often be found with his family or visiting old friends in the elders' den. But if someone were to get him talking they likely wouldn't be able to get him to stop.

Loud and boisterous in his youth, he created quite the reputation for himself as someone willing to fight at the drop of a hat. Some of this disposition remains in his elderly days only to be replaced with the crankiness of age. Redsea is blunt and sharp with his words and he doesn't particularly care if he's being insulting or not. This has likely earned him more than a few disgruntled warriors over the course of his reign.

The Gods the SOVEREIGN rulers of starclan OverviewReverie is an original warriors' rp, meaning there are a few elements present here that were never apart of the books. The biggest example of this would be the gods. There are three main gods, Seawind, Ashpool, and Moor-runner, and several lesser deities that are considered the 'children' of the three main gods. These lesser gods are less important, but still prominent in Ashclan culture and Seaclan myth. Each of the three main gods is celebrated during the specific season they represent, and all gods are celebrated on the final season, which is Leaf-Fall. These were the lesser gods attributed to Seawind's creation. Both are still spoken of in myth but neither is particularly prominent in day-to-day activities.

Embersong is perhaps the most prominent of the lesser gods, despite being the deity of a lesser subject. Mother's give thanks to Embersong for their children and curse him when they die.
Moor-runner

Sometimes called "the forgotten," Moor-runner is seldom recognized among day to day life of the clan he founded. But still his warriors take after him in spirit, even if they do not recognize, possessing many of the same traits he once embodied. Intelligent, energetic, and narrow-minded, Moor-runner was a force to be reckoned with. But his memory has faded from the minds of his warriors and his strength is therefore diminished. Still, he is one of the three main rulers of Starclan and one of the most important clans. His memory is still honored in both Ashclan as well as Seaclan, though perhaps not as frequently as their own patron gods.

Night and day, the two children of Moor-runner sit on opposite sides of the spectrum. Skypetal was said to be fiery and reckless, while her brother was supposedly the calmest of the pair. Their memory has faded and they are seldom remembered in clan life, excluding festivals.
Festival of the GodsThe Festival of the Gods takes place once a year at the beginning of Leaf-Fall as the leave begin to change. For three days, a selected group of warriors, apprentices, and elders from each clan join together on the Island of Lights to celebrate the three gods. During this time food is shared and stories are exchanged as conflict comes to a standstill. Drawing of blood is forbidden during this time, but warriors do entertain themselves by hosting sparring matches between famous warriors of different clans. The three medicine cats and their apprentices host a final celebration on the last day of the festival where they share stories of the gods. A complete Agenda is provided below.
