Open High Ranks Important positions needing to be filled High ranks are very important positions to hold both IC as well as OOC. They help drive the plot forward and keep things moving along in the direction they should. This means that we have some expectations of the people that hold these roles. Please be sure you will be able to keep your high ranking character active and involved in the site plot before applying for a position. If your character goes inactive or you are no longer able to play the high rank as the site requires your character could be at risk of being killed off. This is simply because there is usually no other way for things to make sense and carry on IC. Moorclan Warriors of the wind Overview, The Traditional
The warriors of the wind, Moorclan warriors are disconnected from the rest of the clans and their beliefs. Though they still possess a patron god in Moor-runner, the seldom celebrate his existence more than once a year. Moorclan warriors are known to be energetic, intelligent, and as narrow-minded as their god was. Their territory spans over open plains and rolling hills, making this one of the more beautiful of the territories. Perhaps the most traditional of the three clans, Moorclan has one leader, one deputy, and a medicine cat and their apprentice. The leader selects the deputy and, after the leader has either stepped down or been killed the deputy will become the new leader.
Moor-runner, God of the Wind
Moor-runner, god of the wind and time, is considered the patron god and likely founder of Moorclan. He was known to be defiant, intelligent, and fiercely independent, all of which can be seen in today's Moorclan warriors. But despite owing their patron god their beginnings, Moorclan seldom celebrates his existence as the other two clans do with their own patron gods. Moor-runner was the god of Leaf-Bare and his festival was traditionally held on the winter solstice.

Ashclan Warriors of the wood Overview, The Oligarchy
The warriors of the wood, Ashclan territory sprawls over a forest of ancient oaks and towering pines. Ashclan warriors are typically known to be fierce, passionate, and loyal to their own. These were all traits embodied by their patron deity and the reason some warriors claim descent from the gods. But, despite having possible been founded by Ashpool, Ashclan does not pick a single god to acknowledge. They celebrate each of the three gods and are the only clan to elect three leaders that act as a council, much as the gods did. Each of these three leaders is given three lives instead of the traditional nine and the must work together to oversee the clan. Ashclan lacks a deputy, those duties falling to the council of leaders instead. Once one of these leaders dies or retires, it falls upon the clan as a whole to elect their successor.
Ashpool, Goddess of the Sun
Supposedly the most ancient and most mysterious of the gods, little is known about the goddess of the sun. It is often disputed whether or not she is the original founder of Ashclan, or if she simply guided another to found the clan. She was the goddess of war in addition to primarily representing the sun and the renown of her battle skills stretched far and wide. Traditionally her festival was held in Green-Leaf, the season she has come to represent over the moons, but she is honored year-round by the warriors of Ashclan.

Seaclan Warriors of the tides Overview, The Monarchy
The warriors of the tides, Seaclan is irrefutably bound to the ocean that lines their territory. Generations have been spent perfecting the art of coexistence with the sea and things such as ocean fishing, swimming, and water fighting techniques have been passed down through the ages. But perhaps the most ancient of traditions passed down through the clan's history has been the monarch that rules them. The title of leader has passed from monarch to eldest child for generations, and the current royal family insists on their descent from the ancient founders of the clan. This is the only position that is hereditary, however, with the deputy being chosen by the leader and the medicine cat apprentices being chosen by the current medicine cat.
Seawind, God of the Tides
Seawind is the traditionally assumed founder of Seaclan and their patron deity. He was the god of healing, rebirth, and the tides, but his influence over the lives of his warriors spreads wide. He is often attributed with moving the tides and changing the season to New-Leaf. Seaclan warriors honor their god as well as the others year round, but Seawind's primary festival takes place in the middle of New-Leaf. In his honor, each leader takes on the suffix -sea when they receive their nine lives.

The Rules laws of the Admins General Rules
1. Before creating a character please create your OOC account. This will operate as your main account. For each new character that you make you will need to create an individual account for them (after they've been accepted), as we are a one account per character site.
2. Character profiles must be registered using the characters full warrior name, regardless of their current rank.
3. Character profile and application pictures MUST be photographs. We will not be allowing artwork to be used at this time.
4. Be Courteous and respectful. This simply means we expect our members as well as our staff team to remain friendly and kind to our fellow members. Treat others as you would like to be treated! Anyone caught harassing other members will receive a temporary ban. If the problem persists they will be kicked from the site indefinitely.
5. Swearing is to be kept to a minimum in all OOC areas. We are a little more lenient with swearing IC, however.
6. Mature topics (sex, drugs, rape, etc.) should not be discussed in either OOC or IC settings. If you have doubts about whether or not something is considered a mature topic please reach out to a staff member.
7. Keep conflict IC, don't bring any of the drama your characters might be experiencing into OOC settings. We're all just here to have fun and each of our members strives to create a friendly environment. If you're having issues with someone please reach out to a staff member.
8. Here on Reverie we try to keep our members' in mind. However, we do ask that all IC posts reach a minimum of 150 words so that your rp partner has something to go on. If you need help reaching this minimum please reach out to a staff member for assistance.
9. Reverie runs on liquid time. This means, there is no set timeline and rp threads may be spread out over the course of several weeks if need be. There is no limit to the amount of threads your character can be in at once, but please remain active in all your threads. Don't bite off more than you can chew!
Character Rules
1. No character is without flaws just as no character is all powerful. Please be sure to give your characters negative traits and weaknesses when creating them. No mary-sues will be accepted!
2. Powerplaying is not permitted. Your cannot control the actions of another character within your own post unless you've discussed it with your threading partner beforehand. If you're having an issue with someone please seek out a staff member to assist you.
3. Characters may only be realistically colored. Red eyes and purple fur with pink stripes will not be accepted.
4. Physical deformities such as blindness, deafness, twisted limbs, etc will be examined on a case by case basis. You need to have a good understanding of how your character's affliction will affect them and how they will fit into everyday life before your character can be accepted.
5. Characters cannot use any of the following prefixes: Sea, Ash, or Moor. Characters may not have either -star or -sea as their suffix unless they are in a high rank position.
6. Calico and tortie toms are only available for purchase. The same goes for all Savannah cats.
7. Kits under the age of 6 moons cannot be left on their own for more than 3 days. If your character is left by themselves for longer than this they will be assumed deceased.
8. Pregnant female characters and kits under the age of 4 moons cannot be created. Pregnancy must happen IC and to get a character under the age of 4 moons you will need to adopt from an onsite litter.
9. Characters cannot exceed 100 moons of age.
10. Actions have consequences! This means that your character isn't going to get away with every bad thing they do — characters cannot be invincible! Be sure to keep this in mind when creating plots with other members. |

Welcome to Reverie! We are a member-driven community that focuses on character development rather than development of the overall story. Staff will do their best to keep the plot moving without interrupting member-made plot lines and our first consideration will always be our writers. We ask that you keep our plot in mind when creating your character, but we encourage you to get creative!
The Festival
The festival of the gods is fast approaching and everyone is doing their best to prepare. But while all preparations remain the same, there is something decidedly different about this festival. The mysterious death of Ashclan's leader, increased rogue activity on the borders of Moorclan, and the undrinkable rain falling in Seaclan's territory weigh heavily on everyone's mind as a time meant to celebrate draws ever nearer. Something dark is brewing on the horizon and the gods remain silent.
